Jenneh Yawu

Hello, I'm so glad that you've made your way over to our website.

"Welcome to Glitz N Glam Events NC! I’m Jenneh Yawu, fondly known as Jenny, the owner of this boutique event design and floral company based in Durham, NC. With over five years in the industry, I specialize in creating bespoke events for intimate gatherings of 85 guests or fewer.

As a Certified Event Designer and experienced florist, I’m passionate about crafting lush, textured floral designs and providing full-service event styling, including balloons and rentals. My journey began as a licensed cosmetologist, transforming lives and spaces—a skill I’ve seamlessly carried into event design.

Inspired by my Liberian roots and West African heritage, I infuse vibrant colors, rich textures, and cultural nuances into contemporary celebrations that resonate with clients from all walks of life.

When I’m not designing events, I’m a dedicated wife, mother of three, and the founder of an international nonprofit, 'Reina's Legacy of Hope,' supporting Neurodivergent individuals and their families.

I’m honored to share in life’s most precious moments and look forward to creating something truly unforgettable for your celebration.
